This is a favourite savoury bite to have with drinks – a real favourite and nice and easy to make for guests.
Ingredients
1 x 380g readymade puff pastry
300g stilton
1 free range egg beaten
100g freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Nigela seeds for sprinkling
Method
- Pre-hear the oven to 200 degrees. Linea baking sheet with baking parchment
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pastry to 30cmX23cm
- Cut the pastry into 4 strips lengthways and six across – giving you 24 rectangles of pastry
- Crumble the stilton into a bowl and crumble
- Put a heaped teaspoon on cheese into the centre of each pastry and brush the edges with the egg wash
- Fold the edges over to make a parcel and brush with the beaten egg
- Sprinkle each package with the parmesan cheese and Nigela Seeds
- Insert a knife in the top and make a small slit of each parcel
- Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes until golden
